Am I really that old?

So, I turned thirty earlier this summer, and I didn't think much of it. It wasn't as traumatic as it seems in the media... until I received this in the mail. Apparently 30 is the new 55.

Saw your comment on Dressaday; I got married Dec. 18th 1976, and ditto you, it it a great way to save money onyour wedding when church is already decorated for Christmas. Plus each year we seem to have some work related event requiring dressy clothes, so our anniversary evening is usually spent well dressed. So sad about the August brides, who wants to dress up and go out when it is 90 degrees of HOT weather outside?

Thanks for visiting my blog! I do have to defend some August brides, as they did have lovely weddings that were modest. (You know who you are!) For what it's worth, though, I agree, having to wear all that clothing in the heat of summer does not appeal to me!
BTW, I wish I could wear hats as well as you do!
