No soul-searching here... after all, how intellectual can you be when your day consists of laundry and cleaning up after kids?

Columbus of old
Last week we went shopping, and I found this map. I have no idea when it was published - only that is is before highways, and evidently before much of what we know of the city became part of Columbus. In fact, my old neighborhood isn't even on the map.
While we are not fortunate enough to have Half Price Books here in Maryland, there is a small chain of used book stores out in Frederick and Hagerstown. Last Friday was Jim and I went on a date to the Frederick location, where they had piles and piles of "prints" from old (non-saleable) books. I only got through half of them after looking for two hours.

That's interesting. But the fact that Clintonville is not included on the map makes it less inviting.
That being said, it is good to see Ohio State University and downtown. At least there are some good memories there.
Where did you get the map?
